In the beginning

Alright so I'm going to give this blog thing a shot for a while because I feel it's important to be reachable to my readers. Hi, I'm M.I. O'Flaherty, and I have as of today written and published a book titled: A Smidge of Magic. This was not a flight of fancy, nor is it a work of fanfiction, it is a serious novel and a story I spent the last 28 months crafting. I wanted to take this opportunity to say hello to the internet and all those other authors out there. I sincerely hope this novel performs well and that I can switch to writing full time. I'm also going to tell me tale of writing my first novel in the hopes that it can help others who have stories they want to share but have no idea where to begin.
